The sustainability of an electric bicycle is to some extent dependent on the design of the drive unit. In this video, I will look at the service of the e-bike drive unit and compare the various design solutions of e-bike drive unit manufacturers such as Bosch, Shimano, Bafang or Rocky Mountain. Servicing an e-bike motor is not a simple matter, but for some manufacturers it is not a completely complicated operation.
