Rocky Mountain Instinct Powerplay SL Carbon 50
Synonymous with this machine are agility and maneuverability! The Instinct Powerplay SL is a lightweight e-bike concept with great riding characteristics.
The new Dyname S4 Lite drive is a "miniature" of its more powerful Dyname S4 Pro model. The new smaller, lighter and less powerful drive offers the following parameters:
- Rocky Mountain Dyname S4 Lite unit
- Nominal power: 250 W (EU standard)
- Maximum power: 550 W
- Maximum torque: 65 Nm
- Assistance levels: Ludicrous, Trail Plus, Trail and Eco (individual modes are adjustable in % of power via the Jumbotron display)
- The system is equipped with a torsion sensor
- Maintenance-free motor type
- Maximum electric support speed: 25 km/h ± 10% (EU standard) / 32 km/h ± 10% (US standard)
And what is so special about the Rocky Mountain Dyname drive? What are its benefits?
- Design solution compared to competing manufacturers - it is a unique drive design, where there is no driven crank chainring
- The design solution of the drive relative to the frame allows the use of high-quality geometry, so that the electric bike is very easy to control
- Stable mounting of the motor in the frame, so that there is no movement of the drive in the frame - multi-point fixed joints
- The advantage of long-term sustainable operation thanks to the possibility of replacing individual drive components
- The most stressed place on the bicycle is the center axis - here the motor is located separately and a classic center axis is used as in analog bikes
- Individual drive components are serviceable - torsion sensor, transmission chain, bearings, motor
- Large, clear display in the frame - clearly visible even at night without dazzling the rider
- Options for individual adjustment of the motor performance curve without the need for additional equipment - only using the bike display
- The drive offers max. torque 65 Nm - in practice it behaves the same as riding an analog bike - there is no over-turning of the chainring as with conventional drives - in the field this brings a positive effect when riding, when the bike has better grip and there is better dosing of the drive force to the bike
- The drive can be controlled via the display even if the buttons on the left grip are damaged
The Carbon 50 model offers Shimano XT mechanical shifting complemented by brakes of the same series, a RockShox Lyrik Select 150mm fork and a Rock Shox Super Deluxe Select+ rear shock.
